Jack Pop Art

I began my design by taking photos of my partner, Jack. When I put the original image into Photoshop I decided to keep a consistent pattern of different shades of red, blue, and green. I was inspired by the artist James Rosenquist with the shapes and bright colors.

First, I masked Jack out of the original shot. Next, I edited and smoothed the mask. I then went in with a overlay brush and added color back into the image. After, I took a splatter brush and added splatters of colors around the artboard. I then created multiple shapes and and turned down the opacity so it would overlap and create layering in the background. Then I decided to experiment with the drawing tablet and added lines consistent with the color scheme.
